Driving south and stopping on the way, April 26th

First up Roche Wines on the Narramata Bench before we head to Poplar Grove for another tasting and lunch. Finished the afternoon at Fairview Cellars near Oliver. Check in at the Watermark Hotel in Osoyoos and out for supper at Convivia restaurant. There may have been some sampling of wine in rooms at the end of the evening!

Started Saturday April 27th with a tasting at VinAmite before having lunch at Terrafina restaurant, Hester Creek Winery. And finishing off at Red Barn Winery in the afternoon.

Grand finale of the day was our 5 course dinner at Backyard Farm. Fabulous dinner supplied by Chef Chris Van Hooydonk and his team. We paired the courses with some fabulous wines. What an experience!

You know, some people just don’t know when to quit!

April 28

It is “heading home” day but some of us just haven’t had enough wine. Go figure! There is a stop at French Door and Noble Ridge. And because we heard the fast cars revving up close by we needed to check out Area 27. Fun little get away with new and old friends. Cheers!
